Submit your manuscript to PGP for consideration

Pearly Gates Publishing, LLC considers submissions from both fiction and non-fiction writers. Memoirs and autobiographical works are the most commonly published works. As a Christian Book Publisher, PGP's ministry is to give a voice to those who know their past does not define their future. Submit your story, Bible study help, journal, poetry, or any other God-inspired work for consideration, and our editorial staff will undertake a comprehensive review of your piece of literary art! 

When you're ready, submit your completed manuscript for consideration. Include a cover letter and 250-word synopsis detailing your book's content. 

If you are in the process of writing and would like to know if PGP has an interest in your project, you are welcome to submit no less than three chapters (also include cover letter and synopsis). During the review process, we are only able to consider one submission per author at a time. Digital submissions (Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF) as one document are required. Use a legible font such as Times New Roman 12-point and double-space your manuscript.

Pearly Gates Publishing, LLC is very responsive. Receipt of your manuscript will be confirmed via email. You can expect a determination in 4 - 6 weeks from the date of submission. In some instances, it may be sooner if there is an intent expressed to publish by a target date. Interest for "Rush Processing" must be stated upfront, and a non-refundable $200.00 (USD) fee will be assessed. Should you opt to contract with PGP, the fee will be deducted from the non-refundable deposit. If you are submitting your work via postal or other on-land delivery service, please remember to include a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) if you need your work returned to you.

Submit your manuscript, cover letter, and 250-word synopsis (in Microsoft Word or PDF format) as attachments to an email. Include your name and the title of your work in the SUBJECT line. Please do NOT include your work in the body of the email. It will be rejected by the editorial staff, and you will be asked to resubmit correctly.
